Transcend and Industrial Technology Research Institute say that it is possible to fit all the 2TB data in a size of a human thumb and only a hair thicker than a penny, though the demo on the display was only a 16GB USB 3.0 drive according to a Transcend video at the Display Taiwan 2011 technology show.

It will not be long before we start seeing flash drives of 500GB or 1TB, which will undoubtedly be very expensive. The current biggest flash drive in the market is 256GB.
