Turkish hacker managed to hack a number of DNS settings today. He also redirected the sites to a Turkish hacker’s website. Websites hacked includes Theregister, The Daily Telegraph, UPS, Vodafone, National Geographic, and other.

The hacker who hacked these sites is Turkguvenligi. Turkguvenligi is also know with name “TG Hacker’. The hacking was done using DNS Hijacking method.


The Register is shutting down access to its site as a precaution. A tweet by The Register says

A DNS hijack, we think – but our provider is nowhere to be found. We have shut down access / services as a precaution.
