HP has introduced a new Windows 8.1 based tablet called HP Stream 8. It is Priced at Rs. 16,990, the HP Stream 8 is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

The HP Stream 8 has a big 8-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 resolution. It has 5-megapixel rear shooter, and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB and also can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.


Connectivity options include single SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n; Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, GPS and A-GPS, GLONASS. It is powered by a massive 4000 mAh  battery.

The new HP tablet will be competing against a range of mid-range tablets such as the Lenovo S8, Yoga 8, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Dell Venue 8.
