The famous hacker group Team Poison attacked the Blackberry website recently. The company had announced that it would help the police in the investigation of the London riots.

It has threatened Blackberry, that it should not hand user the user data  to the officials. Some of the store looters are believed to have used the Blackberry’s instant messaging to coordinate their movements.

Team Poison argued that if Blackberry hands over the data, a lot of innocent people will be targeted.

“Innocent members of the public who were at the wrong place at the wrong time and owned a Blackberry will get charged for no reason at all,” said Team Poison’s statement.

It threatened to release employee information, including names, addresses and phone numbers of Blackberry staff.
