The eagerly awaited biography “Steve Jobs,” by Walter Isaacson hit bookstores on Monday. The digital version was released earlier than expected late on Sunday on Apple’s iBooks online store and Amazon’s Kindle eBook store.

The book has 630 pages. It is likely to be Inc’s top-selling book of 2011. It goes on sale less than three weeks after Jobs died at the age of 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The book is based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs over the course of 2 years, as well as numerous interviews with many of his competitors, coworkers, friends, and family.

Head out to your local bookstore or pick it up on Amazon.
