Sony plans to launch pair of Android tablets next month. Nowadays devices can and often do go for many name changes before they actually reach the custome, most of the time the code names given to devices are much cooler than what they actually release under.
This case of the Sony Tablet S2 fits into this section now,the dual 5.5-inch screened clamshell,with android honeycomb, codenamed as the S2, will be launched as the Sony Tablet P. It has got features such as-
- It weighs less than the iPad 2’s 601 grams that is around 370 grams, but more Kyocera Echo at 193g.
- 512Mb of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 2GB SD card.
- connectivity over 4G or WiFi.
Tablet P and the Tablet S will be sharing NVIDIA Tegra 2 processors With 0.3MP front cameras and WiFi.Tablet S weighs around 600g, and has 1GB of RAM and will be available in 16GB or 32GB versions.Still no word on pricing for the 4G enabled, NVIDIA Tegra 2 powered Tablet P, but retailers have reportedly been told to expect more information soon.We’re still expecting to see them launch in September.
