Samsung has launched a new smartphone featuring a in built video projector known as Samsung Galaxy Beam. The android based smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x 400 pixels resolution, 1GHz dual-core processor, front 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat and rear 5 megapixel camera, and a 2,000 mAh battery.

The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has 8GB of built in storage. The projector is located at the top of the handset and is capable of projecting nHD(640 x 360) resolution image at a size of up to 50 inches.
