Reliance communications has launched India’s first CDMA tablet called the Reliance CDMA tab. The tablet features a 7-inch display and runs Android 2.3. The tablet is priced at Rs.12,999 and will be available across all Reliance World Stores and other retail outlets.

Physically the device is very much identical to the original Reliance 3G tab. Here are some of its features:

  • Android 2.3
  • 7-inch capacitive touch screen
  • 512MB of RAM
  • a 2.0 megapixel camera and a front facing camera
  • a microSD slot and supports Reliance’s CDMA network in 22 circles covering over a 1000 towns.
