The benchmarks confirmed that Apple’s iPhone 5 uses the custom ARMv7 dual-core chip dynamically clocked between 750MHz to 1.2GHz making it the fastest smartphone in the market today, beating Samsung smartphones like Galaxy S III, One X, Galaxy Nexus, etc.

The performance test are compared between iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 and carried out over LTE under, under SunSpider Javascript 0.9.1, GLBenchmark 2.5. Both the smartphone come close, iPhone 5 getting the better of the scores but Galaxy S3 also scoring in some tests. When it come to Android smartphones, they are not completely optimized because the hardware and the software comes form different companies.
