Oppo N1 featuring Rotating Camera to debut in India on January 30
The Chinese tech giant – Oppo Electronics Corp. is all set to debut in India with its flagship smartphone Oppo N1 on January 30, 2014. The company has confirmed the launch of Oppo N1 via its twitter handle. The major feature of this smartphone is the rotating camera module.The 13MP camera comes with a specially-designed Fujitsu IPS imaging chip. The entire camera rotates 206 degrees allowing it to act as a front-facing camera as well.
Oppo N1 comes with a large 5.9 inch full HD IPS display at 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 377 ppi density. It is protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and Adreno GPU. It comes with a 2GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB internal memory variants. The device runs on the customized Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system called Color OS. It is powered by 3610 mAh battery. Other than that, the connectivity options include – USB, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS and NFC. There’s also the CyanogenMod option. Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability while offering a variety of features & enhancements.
The smartphone also comes with ‘O Click’, a Bluetooth accessory that can be attached in a keyring and can be used to take pictures remotely or sound an alarm if you can’t find the phone. It also has something called “O-Touch” technology. With O-Touch you can scroll, tap, or snap photos – all without your fingers touching the display.
