Nokia Lumia 525

Nokia has officially launches it’s latest budget Windows phone – Nokia Lumia 525. The major of this phone is that it comes with 1GB of RAM. We usually see only 512Mb of RAM on any budget phone, but this phone offers twice the RAM.

Lumia 525 is a dual core processor phone and comes with 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB with micro-SD card. The processor is 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor alongside 1GB of RAM. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 OS with the Lumia Black update. It has a 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD display with 480×800 pixel resolution,that adds up to 235ppi pixel density. It comes with 5-megapixel rear camera with no flash and no front-facing camera. The camera features Nokia Smart Camera Cinemagraph lens, Panorama lens, and Bing vision with other image tweaking options namely touch to focus, landscape orientation, auto and manual exposure, and geo-tagging. It has focal length of 28mm, 4x digital zoom, Auto Focus with minimum range of 10cm. It can also record videos in 1280×720 pixels (HD) resolution at 30fps. The phone also comes with preloaded apps such as HERE Drive, HERE Maps, and HERE Transit.

Nokia Lumia 525 colors

Nokia Lumia 525 is 9.9mm thick and weighs about 124 grams. It comes with light, accelerometer and proximity sensors. Other features include 3G (21.1Mbps), 2G, GPS with A-GLONASS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It is powered by a 1430mAh battery which can deliver up to 17 hours of talktime and up to 336 hours of standby time.

Nokia has not yet revealed its price or availability date. However we expect the price to somewhere between Rs. 8000-15000.
