After the great struggle of Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console last year when the company newly released the Nintendo 3Di. The ones which stand out are the price tag and also the market flooded with new smartphones and tablets with gaming capabilities. Nintendo has taken a new approach by launching the Nintendo 3DS XL, which will have a screen which will be twice as bigger.
Apart from just a bigger screen, the gaming console will feature a bigger battery for longer gaming sessions and also a 4-gigabyte SD Card on which you can store downloaded games. The Nintendo 3DS XL was announced during a Nintendo Direct video presentation. It will be available in Japan and Europe this July at 18,900yen ($235) in Japan. And in the U.S.A it will arrive on August at $199.
The new 3DS XL is the same size as its Nintendo DSi XL console released in 2010. Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, said the larger screen for the 3DS XL will allow users to enjoy watching videos and movies.
