Today, Motorola announced the Motorola Pro+, an Android device, another QWERTY keyboard-equipped smartphone in their basket .The new Pro+ has the look almost similar of the Pro, but it has come up with smooth curves and good finishing, this change makes the Pro+ slightly wider than the Pro.
The Pro+’s screen is still 3.1 inches, but it gets a big resolution boost, going from HVGA to full 640 x 480 VGA, the phone has got a 1GHz processor and runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Pro+ display comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass, so one can be carefree if they drop it a few times.
It also include a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus, along with 4GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM,microSD card support is included for up to 32GB of extra storage. The increased pixel density should go a long way to making the Pro+ feel like a more modern device. Processor speed and RAM remain unchanged from the original Pro, but the battery at least gets a capacity bump to 1600mAh.
Alain Mutricy, senior vice president, portfolio and device product management, Motorola Mobility said
