Microsoft released an iOS app for SkyDrive, its cloud storage service, in an effort to cooperate with rival Apple’s iOS platform. SkyDrive allows you to store your photos and documents in the cloud, allowing you to view, share, upload and download select file types (a wide range of photos, videos and documents) from anywhere. All you need to access SkyDrive is a Windows Live ID (Hotmail, Messenger or Xbox Live).

Apple already supports cloud services like Dropbox and iCloud. SkyDrive brings you 25GB of free storage which is better than dropbox and icloud  as it gives only 2GB of free cloud storage and 5GB of free storage respectively.

The app is available for free from the iOS App Store and requires iOS 4.0 and above.
