Thanks to Remote Device Access (RDA), Lumia 1001 was detected, which may be Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8. RDA allows developers to test their code using a browser to access Nokia hardware even though they don’t actually have in front of them. Nokia Lumia 1001 showed up when user commanded one of Nokia’s devices to search for other Bluetooth-enabled devices nearby and Lumia 1001 showed up.

RDA has helped to reveal Nokia 900 Windows Phone last year, and now just like last year RDA is showing Lumia 1001 seems legit. This may very well be the next Windows phone 8 Nokia has planned.
