Just as iPhone 5 goes sale in few countries around the world $100,000 worth iPhone 5’s were stolen. According to WSJ it was reported Softbank and KDDI’s au were the victims of burglaries as $100,000 worth iPhone 5’s were stolen in Japan before country’s launch. Police estimated the largest heist, which saw 116 units nabbed from Softbank, was worth an estimated 7.45 million yen or $95,000.

Total of 191 iPhone 5’s were stolen in three separate incidents in Osaka Japan. The devices may be heading to black market.
