Apple has announced that iPhone 5 Pre-orders Hit 2 Million in First 24 Hours. Apple made the iPhone 5 available for pre-order last Friday and the availability of the handset has been delayed from 21 September to 2 to 3 weeks late in October. The announcement is a new record for the company with more than 2 million iPhone pre-orders in the first 24 hours.

Apple expects to sell more than 10 million iPhone 5 in the first week of the availability date.
