INTEX  Technologies a 16-year-old IT and Electronics products company, had launched their first 3.5G USB Datacard in india earlier this year. The wireless datacard offers an internet speed upto 7.2 Mbps for downlink and upto 5.76 Mbps for uplink.  With 3.5G services, we will now be able to download content at a much higher speed and allowing users to stay seamlessly connected on the go. The datacard supports High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSPA) services that enables higher data transfer speeds. It is easily compatible with 2G & 3G network giving access to phonebook and SMS.  It also works on GSM and GPRS, EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) SIM Cards.  Similar to an SMS, the card also supports Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) to send text between a mobile phone and an application program in the network.

The design of the intex 2.0 USB high speed cable is so sleek that it fits smoothly into laptops and notebooks without clogging the other ports. The datacard supports 16GB micro SD card and runs on most of the available operating systems- Windows XP, Windows Vista, Win 7 And Mac OS 10.6.
It is attractively pricesed at INR 1800/-. The datacard is available nationally through both IT, Mobile retailers , Intex Square retail stores, various hypermarkets and online retail sites.
