HTC has officially launched Desire 826 and it runs on Android 5.0. It was released at Las Vegas today in CES 2015.
The pricing of HTC Desire 826 hasn’t yet been revealed by the company, but it is said that the device will make its first appearance in China and then will make its way through all the other Asian markets by early 2015. The smartphone is listed as “Coming Soon” on HTC India website as well.
The Desire 826 smartphone is 4G supported and will come in two variants (single-SIM and dual-SIM) depending upon geographic locations. The HTC Desire 826 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop Skinned with HTC Sense on top and features a 5.5-inch full-HD display.
The Desire 826 is powered by an octa-core (four cores at 1.5GHz and four cores at 1.0GHz) 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor alongside Adreno 405 GPU with a beast of 2GB of RAM under the hood. It sports a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) rear shooter with 28mm lens, BSI sensor, and LED flash. The front camera rocks a 4-UltraPixel shooter. The inbuilt storage is 32GB on Desire 826 and can be expanded via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G (dual-4G), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The phone is backed by a 2600mAh battery (a little less for a 5.5″ Full HD screen don’t you think?). The thickness of the smartphone is 7.5mm and it weighs 155 gms. The Desire 826 will sport a two-tone colour line up, including White Birch, Blue Lagoon, and Purple Fire.
