A video has been put up by the CyanogenMod team which shows  CyanogenMod 7 running on the HP TouchPad. The new video shows a range of new features working on the HP TouchPad.

For those who dont know about CyanogenMod, CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors of these cell phones.

This is not the first time HP TouchPad is getting CyanogenMod, however the major updates include in this version are

  • support for WiFi
  •  basic audio support
  •  limited support for the Google Android Market
  • accelerometer works
