Google patents software

In near future you may see your social networking profile being automated. You may never know whether it was your friend who really replied to your message or a bot who behaves like your friend. Google has patented plans for software which slowly learns how you react on social networking websites.

The complicated code would slowly analyze your behavior in various social networking sites and mimic your usual responses to updates and messages. The software would also flags messages that demand a more personal response.

Ashish Bhatia, Google software engineer, wrote:

“The popularity and use of social networks and other types of electronic communication has grown dramatically in recent years,”

“It is often difficult for users to keep up with and reply to all the messages they are receiving.”

The software would logs, understand user’s behavior and respond to different types of messages, notifications, status changes, videos, images and links sent to them. This would be a like a robot programmed to be like you.

The question that arises here is whether you would like to implement such a software in future for your social network accounts? Let us know you thoughts by commenting below.
