Just when we start thinking that electronic gadgets wouldn’t get any smaller, we just get surprised. A team of engineers at the University of California, Los Angeles have designed an OLED (organic light emitting diode) screen which can be stretched as much as 45%. Just imagine if you could keep you tablet or smart phone folded in you back pocket and stretch it back to normal whenever you need to use it.

The engineers have used carbon nano tubes infused with a liquid polymer. Using which they have created a smooth, stretchable, transparent electrode which can emit light onto a stretchable light emitting plastic and hence creating the wonder screen. Its still under development, but it still manages to get us excited about the future.
