Facebook is about to acquire Bangalore-based product startup Little Eye Labs. This will be Facebook’s first acquisition of a product firm in India.

Little Eye Labs is a start-up founded in May 2012 by four Bangalore-based programme analysis geeks – Giridhar Murthy, Kumar Rangarajan, Satyam Kandula and Lakshman Kakkirala.

Little Eye Labs offers mobile app analysis tools for app developers and testers. The company builds performance analysis and monitoring tools that identify and fix performance problems for Android app developers. According to the company’s website, the app requires no coding or setup. The only thing one has to do is plug in the Android phone via USB. This tool will help developers to detect bug in the app before the app goes live for sale.
