Delhi International Airport has launched their own Windows 8 app just as Windows 8 apps start flowing out. The app gives information to  travelers to make travel around the airport easier. The app is free to download in Windows Store and is developed by Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) with Microsoft.

The app features real-time flight information, live weather information, passenger utility information and more. It seems like a very smart move by the Delhi International Airport authorities to ease the flow of passengers and cause less confusion also making it easier for the traveler to get to where he want’s in time. Most flyers may have a smartphone but they may not all be having Windows 8 operating system, it would be better if they introduced the app for other operating systems ass well.

  • This is a great idea. I hope other big airports in the world will also follow and launch their own apps that can help airport passengers.
