Activison today said that their latest release from the Call Of Duty Series Black Ops 2 sales has crossed the  $ 1 billion mark in the first 15 days of its release and it seems that it has broken the 16 day record of Modern Warfare 3.  But by taking a closer look , the actual sales of the game is 15% lower than Modern Warfare 3  according to the financial analyst, this makes it quite ambiguous on which is the better seller of the two.

Analyst Steve Sterne said

[box_dark]“We believe unit sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops II are tracking down double digits year-over-year… Our checks show initial sales of CoD: Black Ops II at some retailers were down as much as 20 percent. Subsequently, it appears sales of CoD did pick up a bit over the Thanksgiving holiday. We think the current sales curve suggests CoD: Black Ops II unit sales in its first year could ultimately be down 10 percent to 15 percent year-over-year,”[/box_dark]
