The Asus Eee Pad Slider Announced its  rest of the family tablet Eee, Asus Eee Slate, Asus Eee Memo Pad and Pad Asus Eee Transformer at CES 2011,which will be reaching stores this September.

 Right now insufficient details about the availability in Italy, but can know for sure based on what during Milan Design Week in April, the spokesman for Asus Italy had already assured that the ‘ Eee Pad Slider would arrive in Italy in September .

ASUS’ Eee Pad Slider is fast becoming just as mythical as the flying horse the company’s named after. There has been several encounters with potential release windows for the slate, only to see it continually creep back into fall. Well, judging by one of the recent report from Notebook Italia and the tab’s new product page, it looks like that we might actually see launch of 10.1-inches slider in September in Italy.


The company will be offering the Slider in two storage configurations  16GB and 32GB at potential €479 ($400) and €599 ($550) price points, respectively. We’ve also got a slew of official specs for the Honeycomb-based device, which should ship with Android 3.1 installed, with a promised 3.2 upgrade to follow.

The QWERTYfied tablet packs a 1280 x 800 WXGA display, dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of memory, 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, USB 2.0, mini-HDMI, microSD card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth. The company’s also thrown in one year of “unlimited ASUS Web Storage” for your cloud computing needs.

Side software, it is permanently confirmed the presence of Android 3.1 Honeycomb with the promise of an upcoming update to Android 3.2. The kit includes applications Polaris Office 3.0, a program needed to read and edit documents and spreadsheets, and a series of catalogs of music, videos and magazines (myCloud, Zinio, Amazon Kindle, Direct Press). The content stored on the Eee Pad Slider may be reproduced or shared using Asus Waveshare interfacethat puts together a set of dedicated tools, such as Music, MyLibrary and MyNet.
