Archos a French tablet maker, has unveiled the new Arnova GBook, a eReader styled Android tablet. The Archos Arnova GBook features a 7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display, 800 x 400 pixel resolution, 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage also supports microSD card slot, built-in mic, speaker a mini HDMI output. Runs on Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.

The GBook’s battery provides upto 7 hours video playback power and 8 hours in reading mode. The tablet is said to be much cheaper than Barnes & Noble, Amazon, or Kobo tablets. No pricing information is available as of yet.
