Samsung announces Galaxy S III
Samsung today has announce the all new Samsung Galaxy III at the English capital London. The smartphone feature 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 720p resolution (1,280 x 720) pixels, 8 Megapixel camera clicks pictures at 3.3 shots per second and zero-lag shutter speed, front 1.9MP camera, 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 1 GB of RAM, HSPA+ connectivity, 2,100mAh removable battery, Wi-Fi Channel Bonding which doubles the Wi-Fi bandwidth and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The new smartphone will have fears rivalry between Apple iPhone 4S vs HTC One X vs Lumia 900. Samsung has also introduced Music Hub a subscription based music service clearly aimed at competitors, which will feature Scanning and Match service. Samsung says it will have 17 million tracks available in this service.
Samsung has also released a new feature called S-Voice, will only respond to the sound of its owner’s voice, this is a similar feature like the popular siri of the iPhone 4s. The new Samsung Galaxy S III owners will get 50GB free storage from Dropbox. The smartphone will be available in 2 colors blue and white. Samsung Galaxy S III will have internal memory of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and also includes MicroSD for memory expansion. The S III measures 5.38 by 2.78 by 0.34 inches, and weighing 0.29 pounds.
Samsung Galaxy S III release date is set to be on May 29th in Europe and the 4G version will be hitting North America this summer. The pricing of the phone is currently unavailable.
