The Most Secure Mobile OS Is BlackBerry 7

Here is some good news for RIM and BlackBerry users; according to Trend Micro’s latest report on mobile operating system security, BlackBerry 7 is declared as the most secure OS.

Trend compared the security features of four mobile operating systems namely BlackBerry OS, Apple’s iOS, Microsoft’s Windows Phone and Google’s Android. Some of the critical features which were looked into include authentication, application security, data protection, and manageability. RIM came out on top by scoring big points for BlackBerry’s “corporate-grade security and manageability.”

The next best OS turned out to be Apple’s iOS followed by Microsoft’s windows phone OS. Android took the last spot here. Have a look at the graph below:
