Sony unveils 3D home theatre projector in India

Sony India unveiled its latest 3D capable 4k home theatre projector which is priced at Rs. 13,99,900 and is planning to sell at least 100 unit by the year end.

Munetaka Satoru,Sony India’s Deputy General Manager, Professional Solution Division said “Our new VPL-VW1000ES 4K home theatre projector will allow viewers to be totally immersed in the experience with the action unfolding before their eyes in a new level of realism”.

The VPL-VW1000ES projector features Sony’s 4K upscaler “Reality Creation” that enhances all content – SD or HD, 2D or 3D – to higher definition true 4K (DCI Format: 4096 x 2160p) picture signals.It has an Inbuilt IR transmitter. When combined with Sony’s Iris 3 technology of 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast, it produces screen sizes of 200 inches diagonally for cinematic viewing t your home.
