Bollywood as we all know is now the biggest film making industry in the world. But haven’t you ever wondered why there is no dominant website to spread all it has to offer to the world. The void is now filled, by a Singapore based Spuul which hopes to be the one to fill this gap.

Spuul was started my Sudesh Iyer, who is the founder of Sony Entertainment TV in India and S. Mohan the founder of Accellion, buUuk and others. It will operate like Netflix where you can find a lot of free content and premium content at #4.99 and New films at a la carte at $0.99 each.

Spuul will start with 200 movies, and will have to keep up with bollywood’s annual average of 1300 films.

“Our gut tells us most technology-focused plays won’t have the catalog we do,” Smith says. “Our biggest competitor is piracy. But we think, like iTunes, if we give people the ability to buy something they desire with a site that’s easy to use, many will do it.”
