Ultra-mobile new VAIO Z Series from Sony

Sony’s VAIO Z laptops weighs under 1.2Kg and is created for mobile professionals who demand absolute performance and portability. VAIO Z blends ultra-desirable styling and premium carbon fibre with no-compromise specifications and innovative productivity features. This class-leading business notebook helps demanding users work more efficiently with the ultimate in on-the-move computing power. Loading Genuine Windows 7 Professional is now 50% quicker than conventional Laptop.

13.1 inch 1600×900 Display, 16.65mm slim, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD RAID and Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 with 7hours  of Battery life this is how we could summarize Vaio’s new Z.

This new Vaio Z is finally officially official, at least in Europe and pretty sure soon in North America and the Japan as well.

Vaio Z comes with Sony’s Power Media Dock, that once connected to this monolithic base via LightPeack (Optical Cable) your Vaio Z will switch from its integrated Intel HD 3000 Graphics to an AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1GB of RAM, and offer USB 3.0, HDMI, Full HD Output, DVD / Blu-Ray ODD and the usual Gigabit Ethernet.

By default this new Vaio Z comes with the usual suspects, WiFi AGBN, 3G WWAN, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB 3.0 and is schedule to come later this summer.
