BSNL to launch 3 tablets; competition to Aakash tablet?

Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL),India’s oldest and largest communication service provider (CSP) have confirmed that they will soon launch their tablet trio in the market. The tablets will be launched in partnership with Noida-based, Pantel.

The best part however is that the cheapest of these tablets would cost Rs.3,250 only. Doesn’t it sound like competition to Aakash tablet?

The three tablets are:

• T-Pad WS704C - Rs. 10999.00
• T-Pad WS802C -Rs. 13500.00
