Acer Launches the Acer Allegro, its first Windows Mango Phone

Acer has announced its first Windows Phone, the Acer Allegro, also known under the code name Acer W4 . The Acer Allegro got launched in France.

It features:

  • 11.6 x 5.9 x 13mm and weighs in at 126g.
  • 1GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU
  • 3.6-inch WVGA (480×800) screen
  • 8GB memory
  • 5MP rear camera with LED flash
  • 1,300mAh battery

Other features include Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and a mass of sensors. The Acer Allegro has Fast Charge technology, that is to say it charges the device’s 1300mAh battery 2.5 times faster than the its other tablets and phones. It also come in two colours: white and blue.

The phone is priced €299 in France and will be available in mid-November.
