Apple sues Samsung Electronics in Japan
Apple is now suing Samsung Electronics for patent violations related to iPhone and iPad, says Kyodo news agency. This is the latest clash between the two giant rivals. California-based Apple has filed a suit with the Tokyo District Court seeking the suspension of sales of Samsung Galaxy phones in Japan, as well as 100 million yen ($1.3 million) in damages, Kyodo added, citing sources familiar with the matter. The first hearing was held on Wednesday, Kyodo said.
Samsung delay their tab computer in Australia after a court ordering last month. Last week Samsung was banned from selling the Galaxy tab 7.7 in Germany after Apples request.
