It seems Nokia is working on a Series 40 handset with 1GHz processor and a ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen Display.According to Nokia’s Manager of Marketing Services in Argentina, an S40-based mobile phone with a 1GHz processor and ClearBlack display is coming — and for our part, we’re hoping to see it next week at Nokia Connection 2011 in Singapore.

That’s not all, this phone will also have 512MB of RAM, QWERTY keypad, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and an application store to download apps from. This information comes courtesy Nokia’s Manager of Marketing in Argentina through his Twitter account. The Argentina-based tweets that originally outed this handset have been snuffed, but they’ve been preserved in the form of a retweet and screen caps, letting this casual mistake ripple through the web.
