Most of us might have heard of Apple’s buyback and EMI schemes to boost it’s sales in India. Now the company has come up with yet another innovative scheme where the buyer can own an iPhone for 2 weeks and return it back if he or she is not satisfied with the phone. This new offer is called “Buy and Try”.
The strategy looks very promising as people like to try the product first before buying it. In ‘Buy and Try’ user first buys an iPhone from Apple premium stores by paying the full amount. Then if the user is not satisfied with the phone, he or she can return the phone within 14 days and get the money back. The user will get back the money paid for the device except Rs 1,000 for re-stocking fee. Apple will return the money within three working days via a check. The user has to return the iPhone along with all the accessories and the box without any damage, scratches or tempering.
