Angry Birds Space which debuted last week on iOS and Android will soon be launched for Windows Phone 7 as well, reports say. Rovio Chief Executive Mikael Hed said to Reuters “We are working towards getting Angry Birds Space to WP7”.

This statement though, comes as a contradictory to what Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka had told Bloomberg in an interview that supporting the Windows platform isn’t technically pleasing and that eventhough they want to be on smaller platforms they have to consider the cost of supplying them. For developing platforms like Windows phone 7, Rovio’s denial to release its app would mean tragedy as it tries to stay in the game with the present giants like Android and iOS.
On the other hand Angry Birds Space is a huge hit amongst iOS [topped the charts on release day] and Android users, who seem to enjoy the game’s new take on gravity. The game has 60 levels and Rovio promises to come up with a lot more. So did you like Angry Birds Space? Tell us your reaction in comments.
