AMD is described as the world’s most powerful and most advanced graphics cards. And it looks like AMD HD 7970 specification are out. As per an article at obr-hardware, the HD 7970 will ship with a stock core speed of 925MHz and feature a 3GB of GDDR5 memory. It also has a 384-bit memory bus and will be powered by a 6-pin and 8-pin power connector. The idle power draw is just 3W and the peak power is 300W!


AMD’s Radeon HD 7900 series offers for the first time DirectX 11.1 support and is made with the first 28nm process technology, fabrication processes, puts the emphasis on continuing leadership.


The official news will come from AMD on the launch date of its next-gen graphics card from January 9 to December 22, 2011.
